This velvety, matte-colored lip cream is non-sticky, long-lasting, and offers a very pleasant wear comfort.

Procedure

Homogenize Tixogel and Arlamol for 15 minutes. Add propylene carbonate under high shear and mix well. Add phase B ingredients to A and heat to 80 °C. Add phase C and stir until uniform. Fill into suitable container.

Combine phase A ingredients and melt at 95 °C under stirring. Mix phase B with a part of phase A and grind by using a mill. Add phase C under stirring and cool to 85 °C. Fill into molds.

This long-wearing gel-to-oil lip stain provides a mess-free application for hydrating color and shine.

Procedure

Blend phase A ingredients and heat to 60 °C under stirring. Add phase B and stir for 10–15 minutes. Homogenize for 1–2 minutes and remove entrapped air. Cool to 30 °C and add remaining ingredients. Fill into suitable packaging.

Procedure

Melt all ingredients at 90–95 °C. Add phase B and homogenize shortly. Add phase C under stirring. Cool to 85 °C and mold. If you prefer to use pure pigment split the dispersion to 50 % pure pigment and 50 % isononyl isonanoate. Add isononyl isonanoate to phase A. Mix pigments with a part of phase A and grind by using a mill.

Formulated with film-forming 5723 Araucaria Resin, this long-lasting, transfer-proof formula basically needs to be applied only once. It has a pleasant creamy texture and provides a matte finish without drying out the lips.

Procedure

Melt phase A ingredients at 80 °C. Add Thixogel VP-V and homogenize for 1–2 minutes. Add ethanol and continue homogeni- zation. Procedure

Heat phase A ingredients to 90–95 °C and stir until everything is melted. Add phase B and homogenize. Remove entrapped air and pour into molds at 75–80 °C. If you prefer to use pure pigment split the dispersion to 50 % pure pigment and 50 % castor oil. Add castor oil to phase A. Mix pigments with a part of phase A and grind by using a mill.

A pure, fine white beeswax obtained from honeycombs of Apis Mellifera (western honeybee) in cosmetic quality, which is carefully physically bleached and refined. Beeswax is the best-known and by volume the bestselling natural wax worldwide. Even though it has a quite heavy skin feel, it is still popular in many cosmetic preparations.

Application

Beeswax improves texture, viscosity, and gives body in W/O emulsions and anhydrous systems, while enhancing skin feel in O/W emulsions. This double-filtered, high-quality wax is obtained from the wild-growing shrub of the Euphorbia Antisyphilitica family, native to Mexico. Our light-colored high-end quality of carnauba wax is derived from young leaves of the Copernicia Prunifera palm, native to northeastern Brazil. To reduce impurities and discolorations, this product is double filtrated and carefully refined. It is a very hard, high melting, brittle wax with high crystallinity and outstanding oil binding capacity.

Application

Carnauba wax acts as viscosity enhancer in W/O emulsions and anhydrous formulas. Used in stick preparations, it enhances lubricity, generates glossy surfaces, provides high oil binding capacity and improves temperature resistance. It improves texture and enhances volume in mascara formulations. Can be used as a dispersing aid for pigments and dyes in color cosmetics. Furthermore, carnauba wax provides hold in hair styling products.

This medium hard, light-colored base for lipstick is made exclusively from natural and organic materials. It is a perfect starting material to create glossy but long-lasting lipsticks.

Application

This base contains all essential components and requires only the addition of stabilizers such as antioxidants, pigments and, if desired, fillers for a matte appearance.
