Polishing, Sealing, Coating, Finishing: KahlWax will be presenting its natural waxes for confectionery and snacks at ProSweets

Natural wax specialist KahlWax will be unveiling its new product solutions for confectionery and snacks at ProSweets in Cologne, Germany (Jan. 29 - Feb. 01, 2012). Meet our experts at our exhibition stand no. D-048.

KahlWax offers a total of six product groups that include polishing waxes, gloss waxes and non-stick waxes. These waxes have been specially developed for finishing applications and/or as effective coatings for sweets and snacks:

• The outstanding film-forming properties of KahlGloss lend an unusual shine to soft, hard and chocolate candies.
• KahlGlue provides adhesion, shine and protection for snack products.
• KahlOil lends non-stick properties and shine, especially to soft and hard mogul products such as wine gums.
• KahlSeal serves as a protective shell for gumming, coating and protecting dragées.
• KahlTex is a gelatin-free texturizer that gives chew candies their special consistency.
• KahlWax is designed to add shine to soft and hard dragées.

“An appealing appearance and the proper consistency are especially important for sweets like chocolate dragées or gummi bears as well as hard candies,” explains Product Manager Gabriela Wohlenberg. “Polishing waxes from KahlWax give these products a high-gloss finish. At the same time, sealant coatings from KahlWax protect sweet snacks from drying out, losing their flavor or being damaged by external factors.”
